Are you keen to conduct a research project for the tourism industry? We are the largest tourist attraction in the Coastal Bay of Plenty region. We provide a shop-front window, or insight into the NZ Kiwifruit Industry, for domestic and international visitors. Here, the visitors enjoy the 13 ha property, which includes a commercial kiwifruit orchard, a large retail complex, and, extensive food and beverage and functions facilities.
By joining an orchard tour on the unique Kiwi karts (or by a guide boarding the coach in the case of larger groups) the visitors gain an in-depth understanding of the climatic and soil conditions which prevail in this small region, which enables the production of the most nutrient-dense fruit in the world. An extensive retail department specialises in Kiwifruit inspired gifts and souvenirs and a 250 seat restaurant and functions area caters for international coach groups, corporate functions, weddings, etc. We also specialise in shore excursions for the Cruise Ship industry which utilises the nearby Port of Tauranga.
