We are an Au Pair Agency placing foreign au pairs at New Zealand Host Families nationwide. We offer pastoral care, settlement support and regular activities for the 130 au pairs currently placed with us. We are just now embarking on an outbound programme and also offer several additional services to complement and enhance the au pair experience. We expect significant growth in the coming year.
We are a small business with 2 managing partners working in a central shared office with 3 other small companies. Our company culture is fairly relaxed, flexible and friendly but we work hard to give great service to our clients and au pairs and would expect the same commitment from an intern.
We expect the role to develop over time. However, our initial plans would be for the intern to be involved in the following duties:
- General office administration, answering phones, responding to inquiries banking, email, etc.
- Assistance to the Managing Partners where needed.
- Maintenance and further development of social media initiatives.
- Assistance with planning and hosting of au pair events and activities.
- Project work:
o Sourcing new partner agencies abroad to improve au pair supply particularly during seasonally quiet supply periods.
o Marketing planning and implementation, in particular, initiating campaign to attract new host families for the seasonally busy supply periods.
