Our company has two divisions -communications and magazines – but both deal with the written word. In communications, we help businesses connect with their audiences through different media products, from newsletters to websites, brochures to training and everything in between.

The magazines’ division is going through a major growth spurt and this is where we’d need most of the help. Currently, our director is editor of the company’s magazine, the company, a brand new magazine and website for the company’s industry.

Intern Duties

Working closely with the company director and magazine editor, this role would involve selling advertising in a number of media products, predominantly for a group of magazines, helping to develop and implement an overall marketing strategy for a range of new media products and services.

We’re looking for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive. We are a small but very busy team and anyone who thrives on working independently would fit in well.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creating and pitching advertising opportunities to new and existing advertisers
  • Researching new projects
  • Identifying and developing marketing opportunities for our services and media products.
  • Database management.
