We are a not for profit organization set up to promote and advocate filmmaking in New Zealand. We promote the importance of film-making, foster opportunities for film-makers and run workshops & seminars to enable film-makers skills training.

Our Trust is based in Auckland. It is headed by three Trustees who are co-directors, one of which works full-time and we are supported by interns and volunteers. Previous years have seen interns from Germany, France, USA and New Zealand.

Intern Duties

We are now looking for an intern specialised in Accounting and Finance. Among many other daily tasks, he/she will have the opportunity to develop and experience their theoretical knowledge with a high profile position. Some of their tasks will consist of:

  • reconciling monthly bank statements
  • filing for GST
  • filing invoices
  • assisting with auditing
  • preparing budgets

We welcome enquiries from interns who wish to fill this position. Preferably, you will have a good command of written and spoken English, an interest in arts and culture especially filmmaking as well as event/project management, sociable, good interpersonal skills, enterprising, flexible and hardworking. You should enjoy working in a small team where you get an opportunity to show us your skills as well as to support one another in the execution and delivery of tasks and outcomes.
