Intern Duties

Marketing and sales:

  • Regular visits to agents, hostels and travel desks to update on product and brochure stocking
  • Demonstrating the product to interested parties to make sales

Research (Approx. 30% of workload):

  • Collate and analyse information with regards to foreign markets and competitors to assist us to make expansion plans
  • Produce reports for management

Administration:

  • Assist with systems reconciliations
  • General filling

Rental agreement completion:

  • Communicating all major elements of the rental agreement clearly and concisely
  • Recording all appropriate information and signatures on the rental agreement
  • Clearly communicate all insurance terms, options and conditions
  • Highlight the ‘give way to the right rule’ and also parking rules
  • Highlight the speed fine and parking fine admin charge
  • Offer the client holiday and driving tips and maps

Vehicle familiarization:

  • Accurately record all markings and imperfections on vehicle
  • Explain all technical features and demonstrate all equipment as working
  • Ensure client is comfortable with all aspects of the camper operation before departure
  • Supply client with a copy of the damage sheet and rental agreement

Client meet and greet:

  • Greet the clients on return from their trip
  • Report any vehicle issues to the appropriate staff member
  • Assist the returning clients with their onward travel to the airport or hotel

General:

  • Maintain files of rental agreements, and forward to receiving depot where appropriate
  • Ensure all appropriate charges are made and recorded accurately
  • Maintain a clean and tidy customer services reception area
  • Portraying a friendly and helpful manner at all times
  • Maintaining client regional guides, tour packs and general information
